Flame of Calcutta Reviews

India circa 1760 is the backdrop for this melodrama. Darcel, the sensuous top-heavy daughter of a slain French official, assumes the title of "The Flame" and wages a guerrilla war on villain prince Keymas, who has vowed to blow her out and get rid of the British East India Company British officer Knowles falls in love with Darcel, and together they finish off Keymas. A breezy romp back through history with a license to change the facts at will.
