Doubting Thomas Reviews

A comedy about a blundering amateur theater production. Rogers is the husband of Burke, who has gotten the lead in the local production. He disapproves, but the show must go on. The best laughs come on opening night with scenery falling, actors forgetting their lines, and wardrobe goof-ups. DOUBTING THOMAS was out in the theaters when Rogers was killed in a plane crash in Alaska. (Loose remake of the 1922 silent film THE TORCH BEARERS.)
