Django Reviews

DJANGO was the first of more than 30 Italian westerns using the Django character. This is the violent tale of a man who comes into a town run by rival gangs--this time it's the Ku Klux Klan and Mexican bandits. In superhuman style Nero eliminates opponents from both sides, and in the end, with his hands broken, he gets his revenge by propping his six-shooter on a cross. The "Django" films, along with Sergio Leone's westerns, were the most popular of the spaghetti westerns.
