Dear, Dead Delilah Reviews

Although a rabid cult of fans extols the virtues of this cheap, bloody attempt at Southern gothic horror, DEAR, DEAD DELILAH has no redeeming qualities. In fact, if there were a lower star rating than zero, it would be bestowed on this production, which embarrasses great actors Moorehead (it was her last film before she died of lung cancer in 1974) and Geer in their twilight years. The plot concerns a dying, obnoxious, wheelchair-confined matriarch (Moorehead) in whose mansion a fortune is buried. Evil relatives race to see who can find the dough first; Geer's character gets his hand chopped off. Really, really lame.
