Cold Steel Reviews

Dorothy Puzo, daughter of Godfather author Mario Puzo, made her feature film directorial debut with this cop thriller starring Brad (MIDNIGHT EXPRESS) Davis as a cop obsessed with finding the killer of his aged father. The killer, Banks, is a hideously scarred man who must speak through a voice-box in his throat. Aided by associates Ant and Richardson (one of director Alex Cox's regular players), Banks seeks revenge on Davis for an incident that occurred when both men were youths. It seems that Davis, Banks, and a friend were attacked by a vicious gang back when the cops were just cadets. The friend was killed and Banks suffered severe stab wounds in the face and throat, while Davis emerged unscathed. After many car chases, doublecrosses, and shootings, Davis finally tracks down Banks and a showdown ensues.
