A U.S. Cavalry deserter learns of an imminent attack on a wagon train by American Indians. He catches up with them, takes command and helps the passengers defend against the attack.

Hayden stars as an army deserter who is forced to assume leadership of a wagon train that has been under constant Indian attack. Among the members of the caravan is an unscrupulous white, Owen, who has a wagonload of repeating rifles that the savages want to get their hands on. Lackadaisical direction by Selander spoils the good performances.
