Border skirmishes in which a band of marauding "Indians" attack settlers bring marshal Tyler to Sonora. With the assistance of Mexican saloon girl Clark, Tyler discovers that the renegades, who find refuge by crossing the border, are really whites in war paint, led by Kohler. Recruiting a band of real Indians, who feel they have been unfairly tagged with treachery, Tyler disposes of the rascals and finds romance with Kohler's innocent daughter, Dumas.
