Watercooler: Glee Leaves Us Feeling Hungover

If it's Alcohol Awareness Week at McKinley High, how come it seems the Glee writers were drunk when they wrote last night's episode?Seriously, what started out as a fun little Hangover gag — New Directions letting as loose ...

Last night, our buff Bachelor had his hometown dates with the final four ladies looking to land themselves a slab of Brad and, sorry folks, he had, like, no chemistry on display. With any of them! Maybe it's that Brad was completely freaked out about having to meet four different families (even though he has had televised practice with this parental gauntlet routine). Maybe having to wear a shirt makes him socially awkward. Maybe it's that five weeks of competitive dating does not a couple make.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... Joan Holloway? Best known as the hottest secretary known to man (and Mad Men), Christina Hendricks is busting out some new skills as the voice of a very different kind of Lois Lane in the gorgeous DVD movie All-Star Superman (in stores today). Hendricks, who stars in the movie with Desperate Housewives' James Denton as Clark Kent and Anthony LaPaglia as Lex Luthor, is as excited to be playing the iconic role as we are to talk to her about it. Because honestly, she's pretty damn super, too.

Can we have a huge round of applause for Adam Scott? Last night, the Party Down vet absolutely stole the show on Parks and Recreation as his Ben Wyatt came face to face with the shame of bankrupting his hometown back when he was a kid. Damn you, Ice Town! For those not in the loop, a little background: After being elected Partridge, Minnesota's mayor at the tender age of...

Thank God Steven Spielberg scored Debra Messing for his musical pilot, Smash, because TV really needs her back.Last night, the woman we fell in love with on Will & Grace and cheered for The Starter Wife put her comedy chops aside and sank her teeth ...

Now THAT is what Glee should be every week. After last week's encouragingly strong Valentine's episode, of course last night was a letdown. Like Sam's mouth-to-face ratio, Glee's excellent-to-uneven equation is all out of whack, as well. But halfway through what ultimately turned out to be a plotless hour that did nothing but piss off a bunch of Justin Bieber fans, things took a sudden left turn into Awesome Town for what should be remembered as one of the show's greatest performances ever... as well as the one moment that almost made us forget the episode's two tacky suicide jokes and the sight of Puck in mop-top toupee.

Barney Stinson should sue for identity theft. Because there's a sitcom running around pretending to be How I Met Your Mother and failing dramatically. Let's say it cheap-suited up. Unless you are among the headless, you too saw the similarities during last night's premiere of Mad Love. Not only does it ...

Well, this can't be good.Last Friday, amid the resounding happyhappyjoyjoy yelps of Smallville fans over the news of Michael Rosenbaum's impending series-return as Lex Luthor, the awesomeness that is Cassidy Freeman's Tess Mercer did a bad, bad thing: She tried to kill Mini-Lex.

Talk about four play! On tonight's Bachelor (ABC, 8pm/ET), Brad Womack, Ashley H,. Chantal O. and Michelle hit the beach — and strike a pose — during a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated's 2011 Swimsuit Issue in Anguilla. Since he can obviously take the heat, we grilled Brad about this beachy-keen date and the always awesome swimsuit issue, on sale 2/15.

OK, enough's enough. For at least the past two seasons, The Office has spent more time being over the top rather than grounded in anything close to reality. And we forgave this lack of authenticity because most of the time, the show was funny.

Oh, what the howl? After last week's jaw-dropping face-off between Mystic Falls' vampires and werewolves, it sounds like things are about to get even more hair-raising on The Vampire Diaries. "The werewolves want vengeance so bad," says executive producer Kevin Williamson. "And now that Jules knows Tyler is a werewolf, she gives him a choice to make: Is he with the werewolves?" Siding with the furrier folks in town could come with a hefty price ...

If you hadn't heard — the screams of those irate Cougar Town fans were quite loud — Matthew Perry returned to series TV last night on Mr. Sunshine. And since almost every outlet known to man has run a review of his new sitcom about the misanthropic manager of a sports entertainment arena (mostly unkind assessments of the reworked pilot, the forced writing and the abusive decision to ...

In a perfect world, it would be all about Peter and Olivia. But in Fringe's alternate universe, there's that damn Fauxlivia to worry about, too. And with young Mr. Bishop still harboring the warm-and-fuzzies for his Mata Hari from the other side, not to mention a pileup of major revelations that come out in this week's episode (Friday, 9/8c on Fox), things just can't be black or white... or in the show's multiverse color scheme, red or blue.Who should our hero pick, Liv or the liar? In the exclusive video after the jump, the cast discusses TV's trickiest threesome, Peter's, um, bedroom abilities, and how the fate of mankind may actually rest on his decision...

Wow, what a difference two days can make. It was just this past Sunday when the world witnessed one of the wobbliest hours of Fox's golden child, the post-Super Bowl letdown featuring a dazzling "Thriller"-"Heads Will Roll" mashup, a more malicious Sue than we ever needed, and very little else. As many of you pointed out, it was not an episode that would score the show any new fans.Want more Glee scoop? Subscribe to TV Guide Magazine. Last night's Valentine's outing, however, was a refreshing reversal. ...

Oh honey... don't quit your day job. Last night, Katy Perry, the high goddess of auto-tuned pop confections, popped up on How I Met You Mother for a guest spot at Zoey's gullible hot cousin "Honey." And it was not sweet. Blank-eyed and oddly boring for a woman with curves that got her kicked off of Sesame Street, Perry just didn't bring the spark — much less any fireworks — needed to keep up with the effervescent ensemble that is Ted and company. And pairing her with Neil Patrick Harris' Barney only added insult to insanely pointless stunt casting. He's all gland. She was all bland.

Wow, what a blowout. The long-hiatused Glee returned last night in the coveted, cushy, hype-addled post-Super Bowl spot and sadly it was, with that zombies-gone-gridiron business, pretty much undead on arrival. Not that there weren't great moments (Sue's two-part meltdown to "O Fortuna," the sudden use of Dianna Agron's Quinn), it's just that the show didn't really bring its A-game. Built around what should have been a perfect fit for Super Bowl Sunday — McKinley's championship football game — the hour quickly went out of bounds by ...

It's time to discuss an important matter, folks. A problem affecting millions of people across the country, some who have gone years without knowing it or seeking help. An epidemic, really. It's a condition we have come to identify as IAFS. Idol Audition Fatigue Syndrome, a painful, at times devastatingly severe reaction to too many American Idol tryout episodes...

Whether they shoot heroin, compulsively tan or sleep with a hair dryer on the bed, loving someone with an addiction is a 24-hour challenge. So we asked My Strange Addiction's specialist (and Freaky Eaters counselor) Dr. Mike Dow for tips on being part of the solution instead of the problem.

Now that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills two-part reunion has wrapped, we figured this would be the perfect time to look back on the ladies' first season and what they left us with last night. Other than a burning need to see the upcoming "Producers' Cut" of the Dinner from Hell that Andy Cohen tweeted about last night. Hurry up and schedule that thing, Bravo! Until then, chew on these goodies...

Hashtag this! Last night, pop nugget Justin Bieber proved that even with gazillions of dollars and a handful of Grammy nods, he's just like any other teen. He says "like" a lot, thinks a Member's Only jacket is "dressing up," and apparently can't quit with the Twitter. Appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman and being all "Non-Threatening Boy Magazine" material, the Canadian crooner folks either OMG! over or just don't get, took time out from plugging his upcoming 3-D concert movie Never Say Never to school Dave — who'd already made several Twitter gags about Egypt's web shutdown — on the finer points of social networking. Halfway through their chat, the Biebs whipped out his phone and tweeted to his seven million followers that he was doing the show, presumably because the Internet may actually, like die, without the constant buzzing of the Beliebers. "I'm hanging out with my Dave at @lateshow we need to get him twice as many followers! #justdoit" Now, unlike other teens (who seriously need to be slapped with the Fail Whale's tail for pulling this stuff while in mid-conversation), Justin's move was, like, totally cute. Maybe it's because he used the tweet to ...

It could have been so beautiful. It could have been so right. But only in our dreams did we ever imagine this weekend's Syfy spectacular being such a glorious buffet of cheesy brilliance. From the casting — pop footnotes-turned-producers Debbie Gibson (way too gaunt as the eco wacko scientist) and Tiffany (resembling a Rosie Greenbaum in park-ranger drag) — to the Dollar Store effects to the groaner-laden script ("we're gonna need a bigger gator"), MpvG was a mile-long mess. Not a single character made sense...

The Pretty Little Liars may not have a clue as to who "A" really is, but series executive-producer Marlene King knows all. So while we wait for Ezra and Aria to embark on their first real date tonight (8/7c, ABC Family), we're gonna wrap up our chat with King about what's coming up and who might not make it to the season finale...
