Babylon 5 is a five-mile long space station located in neutral space. Built by the Earth Alliance in the 2250s, its goal is to maintain peace among the various alien races by providing a sanctuary where grievances and negotiations can be worked out among duly appointed ambassadors. A council made up of representatives from the five major space-faring civilizations - the Earth Alliance, Minbari Federation, Centauri Republic, Narn Regime, and Vorlon Empire - work with the League of Non-Aligned Worlds to keep interstellar relations under control. Aside from its diplomatic function, Babylon 5 also serves as a military post for Earth and a port of call for travelers, traders, businessmen, criminals, and Rangers.
In the first of two parts, Zack (Jimmy Gatherum) tries to prevent the eviction of his aunt (Jane Withers) from the building where she conjures up magicians' props. Jenny: Olivia Barash. Mario: Tom Williams.
Miyu may be a vampire, but old-fashioned ideas about blood-sucking fiends stalking innocent people in the night don't apply to her. Miyu is the last of the vampires, and her mission on Earth is only to destroy the evil shinma demons that roam the word, taking human shape and preying on unsuspecting people. Her life is solitary; she can form bonds with neither people nor demons, and her only companion is Larva, a creature that was once a shinma but now has become her devoted friend. By day, she maintains the guise of a high-school student, living amongst the weak, vulnerable people that she fights every night to save, and by night she confronts the shinma and her own destiny: to walk a line for all eternity between light and dark, with no place amongst neither demons nor humans. This 26-episode anime TV series was adapted from an original four-episode OVA.
