22 Episodes 2012 - 2013
In the inaugural season, Marty Weaver (Lenny Venito), his wife, Debbie (Jami Gertz), and their kids (Clara Mamet, Max Charles and Isabella Cramp) move from a crowded urban area to a gated community in suburban New Jersey—where the residents are extraterrestrials from the planet Zabvron. The Zabvronians, who have taken the names of famous athletes as cover, are led by the husband-and-wife duo of Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) and Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye), who live next door to the Weavers with their sons, Dick Butkus (Ian Patrick) and Reggie Jackson (Tim Jo). Initially wary of each other's customs and lifestyles, the Weavers and the Zabvronians eventually discover that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the universe, because marital and parenting problems are the same everywhere.
