Bill Moyers follows two working-class Milwaukee families as they "struggle to find their place in the new economy" of the 1990s. Breadwinners in the Neumann and Stanley families lost well-paying factory jobs just before Moyers filmed the 1992 report "Minimum Wage: The New Economy." Excerpts from that film and a 1995 "Frontline" follow-up are folded into this update, which finds the Stanleys still struggling. As for the Neumanns, they're better off financially, but are afraid of falling back.
