22 Episodes 2005 - 2006
As Season 5 of the teen superhero series opens, a pair of Kryptonian evildoers emerge from the spaceship that landed in the fourth season finale. Unfortunately, Clark (Tom Welling) is still at the North Pole, where he was mystically transported to lord over his legendary Fortress of Solitude. Worse still, Chloe (Allison Mack) was beamed there, too, and she's on the verge of freezing to death. But Jor-El (Terence Stamp) forbids Clark to leave his new "home," even though staying will surely kill Chloe. Later, Clark deals with college life and learns what a normal life is like when Jor-El strips him of his powers; Jonathan (John Schneider) runs for the senate; and Chloe begins an internship at the Daily Planet. Superheroes Aquaman, Acrata and Cyborg appear, as well as notorious villain Brainiac.
