The "super" series flies into its sixth season with Clark (Tom Welling) imprisoned in the Phantom Zone, his powers gone. When he eventually escapes so do several other prisoners who must be tracked down and recaptured. Meanwhile, Lex/Zod (Michael Rosenbaum) instigates worldwide mayhem and keeps Lana (Kristin Kreuk) prisoner in what amounts to a captive breeding program. Back in Smallville, Chloe's former flame, Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore), arrives and starts a job as a photographer at the Daily Planet. Later, Lex proposes to Lana and begins work on his secret 33.1 project. Justin Hartley appears as Oliver Queen; and Phil Morris guests as Martian Manhunter.
