Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay travels to struggling restaurants on the brink of collapse and politely asks them if they would like his help. Or maybe not. These establishments across the USA are in dire need of help, and their only chance of survival is to listen to the famously hotheaded British chef, who doesn't hold back in his critique of their fares. With everyone now a food critic, using websites like TripAdvisor to review their orange juice, restaurants have to be at the top of their game if they want to succeed in the cutthroat industry. In just 24 hours, Gordon retrains the chefs in his gigantic mobile kitchen, Hell on Wheels, refreshes the menu, redecorates the restaurant and reopens to the public.
