The retellings include stories of Clara Barton, Rasputin, Nichelle Nichols, Gloria Steinem, the 504 Sit-in, Mr. Rogers, Agatha Christie, Willie Hitler, the theft of the Mona Lisa, the founding of the ASPCA, Joan of Arc, General Meigs, and Vlad the Impaler. Among the season's narrators are Paget Brewster, Chris Romano, Mark Gagliardi, Mae Whitman, and Tess Lynch.
