It has been a year since the events of Fushigi Yugi, and Miaka and Tamahome have settled into a happy life together. Their peace and quiet doesn't last long, however, because someone gets sucked back into the Universe of the Four Gods -- and this time it's Tamahome. This is hard enough to grapple with, but when he arrives, he finds he has taken the form of his own mortal enemy. Miaka is despondent about losing him but if she doesn't pull herself together and get him back, a shift in the universe itself could erase her from even having existed. It's time for the page to turn once more, as the mysterious play continues. The Fushigi Yugi OVAs explore slightly more adult themes, to fit with characters that have matured in many ways.
