The Grim Reaper will be visiting Chester's Mill again soon!

When Under the Dome's cast and executive producer Neal Baer hit Comic-Con on Thursday, they came prepared with some devastating scoop: Not everyone will survive the sophomore season.

"We kept the body could down at the beginning of the season so we can rev it up for the end," Baer told the crowd after screening a surprisingly spoiler-y clip that showed Barbie (Mike Vogel) possibly falling to his death.

Get the latest news from Comic-Con

In the clip, Barbie, Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) and Rebecca (Karla Crome) have discovered a giant cavern with a pitch-black tunnel. When Barbie begins to rappel down, he's pulled by some mysterious force until he must cut himself free to prevent Julia from being pulled down with him. But is Barbie really dead?

"One of our characters might get out of the dome this season," Baer said, heavily insinuating that Barbie would not actually fall victim to the dome, but would rather make his way out.

Never fear: Een if you die on Dome, that doesn't mean you can't come back. Baer teased that at least one of Season 2's first victims, Angie (Britt Robertson) and Linda (Natalie Martinez), will return soon. "When you're dead, you're dead," Baer said. "But that doesn't mean you can't be an avatar and come back at some point." Speaking of Angie, Baer promised that "we'll definitely find out what's in that locker this year." Whatever it is, Sam (Eddie Cahill) probably doesn't want it found considering he appears to be Angie's killer!

Under the Dome's latest victim speaks out on bloody end

As for the future of the series, Baer noted that the introduction of the tunnels opens up a wealth of new story avenues. "We've set it up so we can keep going," Baer said of the Season 2 finale. "We have plenty of stories left to tell."

Do you hope Under the Dome will return for a third season? And who do you think will die?

Under the Dome airs Mondays at 10/9c on CBS.
