In this 2009 cable movie based on the novel by Debbie Macomber, Doris Roberts once again taps into her mothering instincts, but this time around they're welcomed with open arms. Roberts plays a nanny who's hired by a widower (James Van Der Beek) to look after his rambunctious twin boys. It gets Lively when the enduring late-night series kicks off a three-show arc of new December episodes. (Taylor Lautner is slated to host on Dec. 12, and James Franco hosts on Dec. 19.) But presiding over the comic action tonight is actress Blake Lively, star of TV's Gossip Girl and a player in the 2009 film The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. 12 Men of Christmas
9/8c Lifetime
Kristin Chenoweth brings her perky star power to this 2009 light holiday romance, which takes E.J., a jobless New York PR exec, and plops her into God's country. Surrounded by open spaces and lots of good-looking men, she starts her new job of putting small-town Montana on the map. E.J. runs into resistance when her idea for a sexy calendar featuring the town's best local resource — its emergency rescue squad — doesn't sit well with the squad's leader (Josh Hopkins). But with E.J.'s determination (and Chenoweth's charm), it's clear that resisting this calendar girl is futile. — Rhoda Charles
