Tiffany Haddish Puts Six Comedians in the Spotlight in Netflix Special They Ready

Tiffany Haddish is ready to share the spotlight with a few of her favorite fellow funny people.

The comedian and actress-turned-producer announced on Tuesday that her new series of half-hour comedy specials, Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready, will arrive on Netflix on Tuesday, Aug. 13. The name is no doubt familiar to fans of her 2017 stand-up special, She Ready: From the Hood to Hollywood,as well as her episode of Talk Show the Game Show, titled "She Ready, Boo!"

In her announcement video, Haddish also the six comics she has chosen to feature in the new series, all of whom she has a previous relationship with: Chaunté Wayans (Wild n' Out), April Macie (Last Comic Standing), Tracey Ashley (The Last O.G.), Aida Rodriguez (Comedy Central's This Week at the Comedy Cellar), Flame Monroe (Def Comedy Jam), and Marlo Williams (BET's Comicview).

Haddish serves as producer on the series alongside Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwitz.

She also stars in Netflix's new animated comedy series Tuca & Bertie, the first season of which is currently streaming. She Ready: From the Hood to Hollywood is available for streaming at Showtime.
