This Is Us Sneak Peek: Beth and Randall Definitely Have Their Groove Back

But will their hectic schedules throw them off their game?

Megan Vick

It wasn't that long ago that This Is Usfans were wondering if Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) would stay together for the long haul, but with Randall's election officially over, the couple is really getting their groove back.

In TV Guide's exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday's episode, the reunited lovebirds can't help exchanging flirtatious barbs, even when trying to figure out their hectic family schedule -- which just got even more crammed with Beth's new job as a dance teacher. She's teaching ballet in the morning and modern three nights a week, which is going to put the couple in a bind when it comes to taking kids to school and picking them up in the evenings.

Randall suggests getting someone to help out with that, but he's not the corporate money maker he used to be, and Beth isn't raking in coin as a dance teacher either. It looks like the Pearsons are going to have to get a little creative with their finances to figure out how to make their dreams come true, but Randall has yet to meet a problem that he couldn't fix. A few episodes ago, this kind of problem would have led to a blow-up fight for these two, but they are back on their badass, problem-solving ish, and it is so good to see.

The financial discussion won't be the biggest worry for Beth and Randall in the episode though. At the end of the clip, Randall gets a call from Deja (Lyric Ross), and it doesn't sound like anything good is happening on the other end.

This Is Us airs Tuesday at 9/8c on NBC.
