For fans eager to discover how Scully's story ends, TV Guide has an exclusive sneak peek of the bittersweet episode, which will see the ongoing mythologies surrounding Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully's son William (Miles Robbins) and the Spartan Virus finally come to a head.
In the clip, the Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) warns Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) than unless he delivers William to him, he'll release the deadly contagion onto the world. Before Skinner has time to process the warning, he's interrupted by Scully who asks him for help in protecting Mulder and William.
Without revealing anything about his dealings with the CSM, Skinner tells Scully that he's reluctant to help her because he's been instructed by Kersh (James Pickens Jr.) to fire her and Mulder. So it seems as though Scully's storyline isn't the only thing coming to an end in The X-Files' Season 11 finale; The X-Files themselves may be done too.
Catch the finale Wednesday at 8/7c on Fox to find out how Scully's journey ends!
