Cute panda though
No, that's not a late summer heat hallucination you're having, The Masked Singer really did introduce more of its totally bonkers (and incredible) costumes for Season 2, and they're a reminder that no matter how many times you walk into a room and forgot why you went in there or laugh at your own jokes, somebody out there is a little bit more loony than you are. They're even getting paid for it. What a world.
Just weeks after offering a glimpse at some of the new Season 2 creatures, including a leopard done up like Queen Bey, a flamingo, an eagle, a fox and a calaca (the Mexican skeletons used in Day of the Dead celebrations), Fox released a new preview featuring even more new creatures to come when The Masked Singer returns in fall.
The Masked Singer Was the Most Underestimated Show of the TV Season
Starting with a two-hour premiere, The Masked Singer's sophomore season will introduce us to 16 celebrities -- up from last season's 12! -- and we now know those will include a Christmas tree, what looks like a cake pop, a panda, a Rottweiler, what appears to be a neon Groot, and then most frighteningly, a violet flower with no eyes.
If you'll never be able to look at violet flowers again without being a little bit afraid, no one can blame you.
The Masked Singer premieres Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on Fox.
