The stomach-turning drama of The Handmaid's Tale won't be letting up anytime soon.

The series has just been renewed for Season 3, per Variety, meaning that Offred (Elisabeth Moss) and the rest of the handmaids will have to deal with the Gilead for yet another season.

The series just launched Season 2, which finds Offred on the run after staging a mini-rebellion against Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) during Janine's (Madeline Brewer) public stoning. Things are even more complicated now that she's pregnant, a prime target for the Eye and also searching for her long-lost daughter.

The Handmaid's Tale: The Story Behind That Horrific Opening Scene

Meanwhile, Emily (Alexis Bledel) has been sent to the colonies, a barren hellscape designated for infertile and lower-class women who are then worked to death, after running over a Guardian with a stolen van. The series will chronicle her difficult journey to the wasteland and explore more of her backstory.

Season 2 of The Handmaid's Tale is currently streaming on Hulu.
