The 100 Season 6: It'll Take Some Time Before Bellamy and Octavia Can Forgive Each Other

The Blakes have a lot to overcome before they can move forward

The 100's fifth season started with all of our heroes separated by space (and boulders) but ended with everyone reunited on the transport ship bringing them to their new planet. But just because they're going to face this new future together doesn't mean they've forgiven one another's pasts. Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), in particular, have a lot they need to work through before they're able to accept what the other did to survive -- and what they did to each other -- including Bellamy poisoning Octavia, Octavia throwing Bellamy into the fighting pit and, how could we forget, Octavia becoming a cannibal.

So how will the Blake siblings move forward from all this? "I'm not too sure," Morley told TV Guide at New York Comic Con over the weekend. "I think she did much worse things than Bellamy. ... Obviously, Octavia and Bellamy are going to have to have a chat about [the poisoning]. It's not a good thing, but neither is eating people and then killing people. So they both have a lot of things to talk about."

Creator Jason Rothenberg did assure us that Bellamy and Octavia will be able to repair their relationship... eventually. Just don't expect to see this anytime soon. "That's a big rift, for sure, and it will take some work to get back to a place where the Blakes are tight," Rothenberg said. "We'll put them through that wringer and we'll get them there eventually, but it's going to take a while. That's not something that you get over too quickly."

In the meantime, Bellamy will be leaning on his girlfriend Echo (Tasya Teles) and the other surviving members of Spacekru as his main means of support and sounding boards. Bellamy will also get an opportunity to be there for Echo this season when her own past comes back to haunt her.

"We get a bit of Echo's backstory and Bellamy's obviously involved with dealing with that emotionally," Morley teased.

The 100 returns to The CW at midseason.
