Susan Boyle Gave Everyone Goosebumps Again With 'I Dreamed a Dream' on AGT: Champions

It's been 10 years since Susan Boyle first took the stage on Britain's Got Talent -- stunning the judges and the watching world with her authentic, commanding performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables -- but she's still got it.

Back then, no one knew what to expect from the woman who'd cheekily swiveled her hips around and proclaimed she wanted to be the next Elaine Paige, but once she delivered her first verse, it was clear she had something special to share. Boyle's performance became a viral sensation, and she went on to become an international name. Even though she didn't win the competition show that year, she accomplished her dream of becoming a famous recording artist just the same.

This year, Boyle returned to the show that started it all by appearing on America's Got Talent: The Champions. In week one, the Scottish singer performed The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" and earned Mel B's Golden Buzzer to advance straight to the finale.

Back in the spotlight for Monday night's finals round, Boyle aimed for nostalgia when she revisited the same number that brought her fame, inspired the title of her debut album and earned a genuine smile from Simon Cowell so many years before.

While no one was caught quite as unaware this time, her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" still earned a similar heaping of praise, with Cowell saying, "That really, really took me back all those years. I can remember vividly how disgusting I was on the day before you sang and then what you did and what happened afterwards. Seriously, it was fantastic. You're a champion."

Howie Mandel took it a step further, echoing Piers Morgan's exuberance from a decade before and gushing, "The word 'champion' isn't even enough to describe you and how you perform."

Will it be enough to earn Susan Boyle that long-overdue win this time around? We'll find out when the America's Got Talent finale results round airs next Monday, Feb. 18 at 8/7c.
