Guess who's coming back?
Supernatural's 300th episode is really shaping up to be an ~event~ thanks to the growing list of key character reprisals in the big milestone episode. The hour, titled "Lebanon," is expected to bring things "full circle" for the Winchester brothers, according to Jared Padelecki, thanks in no small part to the fact that at least two long-lost characters will be returning to the show.
Here's a look at which characters fans can expect to see return to Supernatural for the episode, airing Thursday, Feb. 7.
John Winchester
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is finally reprising his role as the late John Winchester in "Lebanon." Papa Winchester has been long gone from the show, after finally finding peace in the Season 2 finale by killing Azazel to avenge his wife's murder.
Zachariah
Kurt Fuller is now also expected to reprise his role as the duplicitous angel Zachariah, as confirmed by Entertainment Weekly. Like Papa Winchester, Zachariah hasn't been seen in quite some time. He last appeared in the show's fifth season, when he was taken out by Dean (Jensen Ackles) sticking his angel-slaying blade through his jaw -- that'll teach him to mess with littlest bro Adam (Jake Abel) -- so it remains to be seen how the character will be brought back to life ... er, at least screen life, in the upcoming Season 14 episode.
The details of each of these character revivals are still under wraps, but Misha Collins has hinted that there may be a bit of time-travel involved in the narrative. The actor previously told TVLine, "There's a little bit of time-travel that comes into play in the 300th episode, and we'll see a different version of Cas[tiel]."
Supernatural's 300th episode airs Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8/7c on The CW.
