STAR TREATMENT

Film critic Roger Ebert received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday. "When I watch movies, I can feel what it's like to walk in another person's shoes," he told the crowd, which included friends, family and Tony Danza. "Movies make us more decent people. This is a wonderful day for me." Speechwriters gave his remarks two thumbs way down, calling them "hokey" and "predictable."
