However, the pic saw its audience erode by more than 50 percent, an indication that Spider-Man will face little competition when it opens Friday. The Ben Affleck-Samuel Jackson thriller Changing Lanes held steady at No. 2 with $9 million, followed by Angelina Jolie's new romantic comedy Life or Something Like It, which made, like, a pitiful $6.65 million.
