Sofia Vergara has broken her silence over her ex-fiance Nick Loeb's fight for her frozen embryos, saying that his lawsuit "makes no sense."

In an interview with Howard Stern, Vergara stated that a child "needs a loving relationship of parents that get along, that don't hate each other. "I don't hate him," she clarified, "but he obviously has a problem with me!"

Loeb is suing Vergara over the two female embryos they created when they were together and recently wrote an op-ed in the New York Times to stake his claim to them, writing that he wants to hire a surrogate and become a single father.

Vergara argued that Loeb's plan would violate a contract they both signed for each embryo, prior to their split.

"You signed papers, legal papers, and if it was so serious for him, this issue - which I totally respect it is serious for someone -- than you should have taken it more serious at the time like I did," she explained, adding that she's not worried about a judge ultimately siding with Loeb.

Meanwhile, the Modern Family actress, currently promoting her movie Hot Pursuit, doesn't discuss such drama with her current fiance Joe Manganiello.

"We try not to even talk about it," she said. "We have lawyers, and we're having so much fun right now." Each are currently promoting a movie, with Manganiello prepping Magic Mike XXL, and "we're planning our wedding.

"So it's like, we try not to think about this because we can't do anything. It's signed, it's done, we have a contract and that's it."
