Snooki and JWoWW on New Series, Wacky Pregnancy Dreams and No More Drinking

Fans of Jersey Shoreparty girls Snooki and JWoWW needn't be worried that their advancing ages — and changed circumstances -- have turned them into boring old fuddy-duddies. Yes, Snooki is now pregnant and engaged, but not much else has changed for their new spin-off Snooki & JWoWW.

"[MTV] said, 'Be yourself, because that's what America fell in love with,'" JWoWW told TVGuide.com Thursday. "They said, 'Don't even worry about ratings; just go in and have a good time,'" Snooki added.

The series, which premieres on June 21 at 10/9c, follows the pair as they move into their Jersey City apartment decorated like a "guidette Barbie house that went into a safari," hang out with their boyfriends Jionni and Roger, and, of course, experience Snooki's first trimester. "It's a lot of me annoying Jenni and being a b----," Snooki says.

But how did the besties manage to have fun without boozing it up like viewers are so used to seeing? Not a problem, the girls say. "A year [ago] we shot the pilot, it was before [Snooki] even met Jionni, and going in we knew we weren't going to drink and show that side," JWoWW said. "Jersey Shore is a month of vacation, but in our everyday life we hardly drink. We don't need to drink to be entertaining!" Snooki added. Besides, JWoww says, "I'd take [pregnant Nicole] over hungover Nicole any day."

Now in her fifth month, Snooki explains some of her odd side effects. "I get a lot of stabbing dreams that people are stabbing me in the elbows," she told us. "It feels very real." And the 24-year-old, who promises no self-tanner on her baby, knows exactly how she wants to dress him or her: "If it's a girl it will be animal print, if it's a boy, like Pauly D."
