Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star Kim Richards Arrested After Alleged Drunken Fight

Kim Richards continues to struggle with sobriety.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar has been known for having a drinking problem for years now. Early Thursday morning, the Beverly Hills Police Department reported they arrested her at a hotel after she got into a fight. Authorities say she "reeked of alcohol" and was slurring her words.

When police arrived around 1:30 a.m., Richards locked herself in a bathroom in the Beverly Hills Hotel and refused to come out. Once they had her in custody, she kicked an officer.

She was charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer. Richards is due to appear before a judge in Los Angeles on June 10.

Richards is an original cast member of Real House of Beverly Hills, along with her sister, Kyle. In 2011, Kim first entered rehab, and left after completing treatment about a month later. Bravo, the network home of the Real Housewives franchises, aired her first post-rehab interview.

On the most recent season, Kim got into a huge fight with new cast member Lisa Rinna over whether she was maintaining her sobriety.

The Richards sisters spoke to one another for the first time in three months on last week's RHOBH reunion special -- and it did not go well. At the time, Kim denied she was having trouble staying sober.
