The one-hour broadcast drew 11.6 million viewers and a 2.9 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, even with last week. Boosted by Idol, Part 2 of So You Think You Can Dance's Season 10 premiere followed with 7.1 million and a 2.3, rising four-tenths from Tuesday.
ABC was second, led by Modern Family (9.8 million, 3.5), which was the top-rated show of the night.
