Ratings: Grey's Leads ABC to Third-Straight Thursday Win

Grey's Anatomy continued to dominate in the 18-49 demo Thursday night, leading ABC to its third-straight Thursday night victory, according to overnight estimates.

CBS' CSI scored 14.6 million to Grey's 13.8 million, but the ABC drama handily defeated the CBS procedural among adults 18-49. The Office's buzzed-about, hourlong wedding episode also outperformed CSI in the demo and pulled in 9.1 million viewers for the show's best numbers in nearly a year. Fringe and Supernatural held steady at 6 million viewers and 2.5 million viewers, respectively.

Premise: Las Vegas criminologists use scientific methods to solve grisly murders in this unusually graphic (and hugely popular) drama, which inspired a host of other cop-show 'procedurals.' An immediate ratings smash for CBS, the series adroitly mixes painstaking deduction, gritty subject matter and intriguing characters. The network quickly capitalized on its megahit with spin-offs 'CSI: Miami' and 'CSI: NY.'
