We are one step closer to The Perfectionistsbeing in our lives! The second full-length trailer dropped on Tuesday morning and came with the added bonus of the spin-off's premiere date. The show drops Wednesday, March 20 on Freeform.

The latest clip focuses heavily on the murder mystery that will take over Beacon Heights in the first season. A few of Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) students seem to be at the center of the tale and their voiceover indicates they each have a motive for getting rid of whoever was impaled by the fence at the beginning of the trailer. At the very least, their hand holding, drinking and finding rats in small wooden boxes afterwards indicate that they're in for a season of torment and intrigue ahead of them.

The Perfectionists: Are Alex and Mary Still Locked in Mona's Basement?

The Perfectionists is an adaptation of Sara Shepherd's young adult novel, now embedded in the world of Pretty Little Liars. Alison has transferred to the university to begin her masters degree, only to find out that Mona (Janel Parrish) has ended up at the same place. Together, they'll be locked into another puzzling mystery with a dead body at the center. This should go well as long as no one starts sending text messages and signing it "A," right?

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists premieres Wednesday, March 20 on Freeform.
