Ryan Murphy's latest hit show, Pose, has officially been renewed for Season 2!

Murphy already had plenty to celebrate with The Assassination of Gianni Versacegrabbing 18 Emmy nominations on Wednesday morning, including one for himself for directing, but everyone could use a reason to pop another bottle of champagne, right? His FX boss was also pretty stoked to dish out some more good news.

"Ryan Murphy has once again revolutionized television with Pose, an incredibly engaging story of creativity, courage, compassion, love and family at a pivotal time in our culture," said John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions, in a statement. "As television critics have universally acknowledged, there is simply nothing like Pose on TV, so effortlessly excelling on every creative level and earning a place in television history for its infectiously inclusive spirit."

Set in the 1980s, Pose is a dance musical that explores the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York: the ball culture world, the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe and the downtown social and literary scene.

While Pose has certainly caught the attention of critics, it premiered too late to be considered for the recently announced 2018 Emmy Nominations, meaning we'll have to wait until 2019 to see if voters found it as engaging as Ryan Murphy's other projects, which have always been awards darlings.

Pose airs Sundays at 9/8c on FX.
