Another year, another Droughtlander. We still have some time to wait before we return to everyone's favorite time-traveling love story, but Starz provided some respite for the anticipation with its first look at Outlander Season 5.
In a sizzle reel for upcoming shows, fans were treated to a quick look at what lies ahead for Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in Outlander Season 5, and though it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, we'll take anything we can get at this point. The short clip shows Claire and Jamie standing on top of the majestic Fraser's Ridge, looking out at the land they've come to know and love as their own in the new world. Though neither of them looks particularly happy, they do hold each other close as Claire tells her husband, "It's time."
Time for what? Probably to get stuck in the middle of another uprising (but hey, at least this one will end differently than the last), but that's Jamie and Claire for you. They just can't stay out of trouble!
Here's hoping they manage to somehow save Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) from being hanged for treason while also avoiding their fiery fates. After all, we could be fast approaching the date that their little country cottage burns to the ground, historically taking the both of them with it.
