CNN claims human error was to blame for publishing obituary mock-ups that its web site's designers had prepared for such luminaries as Ronald Reagan and Bob Hope. The pages, which were reportedly discovered by the folks at Fark.com, had been on a development site meant for internal review. Although they were yanked about 20 minutes after being exposed, TheSmokingGun.com managed to grab a few of them for "posterity's sake." Meanwhile, there's apparently no truth to the rumor that CNN also has obits ready to go for Fox News's Bill O'Reilly, Greta Van Susteren and Shepard Smith.
