Martin Freeman will star in FX's Fargo limited series, Deadlinereports. The 10-episode series, executive produced by Joel and Ethan Coen, will feature a new true crime story with new characters.

The 10-episode series, executive produced by Joel and Ethan Coen, will feature a new true crime story with new characters. The Sherlock star will play Lester Nygaard, a small town Minnesota insurance salesman, similar to William H. Macy's sweet sad sack character in the original 1996 film. But everything will change for Fester when the manipulative Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thorton) comes to town.
