Khloe Kardashian Is Not Here for These Bachelorette Rumors

The reality star also threatened legal action against the show's producer

Without diving too deep into the pool of celebrity gossip, let's just say that Khloe Kardashian has been through a lot in the last few days after her boyfriend and baby daddy allegedly got caught stepping out on her (again?) with a close friend of younger sis Kylie Jenner. So, even moreso than is normal for her and everyone in her famous family, Kardashian's name has been everywhere in the news feeds lately.

As anyone who's watched even a single episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will know, Khloe is one of the more grounded and good-humored members of Kardashian-Jenner brood, which makes her endlessly watchable and worthy of spin-offs aplenty.

The Bacheloretteproducer Mike Fleiss apparently agrees with that assessment because he hinted on Twitter that Kardashian might channel her well-documented heartbreak into an all-new reality TV experience as the next Bachelorette.

However, sis Kim Kardashian swatted that rumor down with a vengeance, calling it "fake f---ing news big time." Fleiss was undeterred by that, though, and proceeded to say that she was "out of the loop" and insisted such discussions were strictly between Khloe and momager Kris Jenner. Fleiss even went so far as to say that a confidentiality agreement might be in place to prevent Khloe from even talking to Kim about such an opportunity.

Fleiss somehow must have missed the memo that Kim Kardashian is known for bringing her receipts to any given celebrity feud, so it didn't take long for those contentions to be shot down in spectacular fashion with a screengrab of a group text with both Khloe and Kris Jenner that confirmed she was not in contention for the job nor was she interested.

Khloe then followed that up herself by tweeting to Fleiss that she was "not f---ing clickbait" and that if he didn't cease with the rumor spinning she'd consult her attorneys.

Only then did Fleiss back down from his assertions and say that his offer was about helping her "find true love -- nothing more" before offering a bit of a dig against Khloe Kardashian by writing, "One of the things we look for in choosing #TheBachelorette is a great sense of humor... Might be time to look elsewhere."

As for the potential lawsuit at hand, Fleiss indicated that he's not concerned, writing, "You can not be sued for trying to help somebody find true love... Just sayin'."

Messy, messy, messy stuff, this show business.

TL;DR -- Khloe Kardashian is not going to parlay this pain into becoming the next Bachelorette, and she wants that rumor to end with the quickness.
