Nobody likes to be spoiled about their favorite TV show — even if it's Kevin Bacon doing the spoiling.

The Following star apologized Tuesday for accidentally spoiling the series' international fans when he re-posted a Twitter user's comment that gave away a key plot point from Monday's episode, which has not yet aired outside of the U.S.

25 bubble shows: Which will survive?

Shortly after he realized it was a spoiler, Bacon deleted the original tweet and posted a Vine video of himself saying "My bad" three times in a row. "To all the fans abroad and late watchers I'm truly sorry I retweeted a spoiler," he later tweeted. "I just wasn't thinking. Won't happen again. #MyBad."

The Following airs Mondays at 9/8c on Fox.
