The first and foremost being the fact that the Spike Jonze-directed clip begins with rare footage of the rapper smiling. It's like staring at an eclipse: You know this is something you shouldn't be seeing, but you're too mesmerized and caught up in the novelty to look away.

The second most surprising thing being that West, who most often comes off as an egomaniac with a God complex, seems genuinely sweet, soft and paternal in the video. In the clip, West strolls lovingly in the field with 1-year-old daughter North and seems like any other father and not someone who would end all familial debates by screaming "I AM THE NUCLEUS."
