Though Jon and Kate Gosselin admit they've been struggling with their marriage under the media microscope, the two mark their 10th wedding anniversary Friday.
After meeting in 1997 at a picnic, Jon and Kate tied the knot in a friend's backyard in Wyomissing, Pa., on June 12, 1999. As shown on the couple's TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, they honeymooned in Disney World and then immediately started working on a family.
Twins Cara and Mady arrived in October 2000 and the couple started fertility treatments soon afterward in hopes of having a third child. They instead got six more; their sextuplets were born in 2004. Two years later, the family became the subject of a TLC special, which, of course, spawned their series.
As seen on Jon & Kate last season, the Gosselins renewed their vows in August in Hawaii, where they originally wanted to get married.
So how will Jon and Kate celebrate the big 1-0? That remains to be seen (literally, on the show), but if the past few episodes and weeks have been any indication, they may not be together. Jon went to Utah to snowboard on Kate's birthday in March and spent Memorial Day weekend in New York, while his wife and children headed to North Carolina.
