Will we see Jennifer Lopez in London in 2012?

The multi-hyphenate has decided to "tri" her hand at athletics and has been training for an upcoming fall triathlon, she told Self magazine.

"I've always loved sports," Lopez said. "I used to be on a track team in school. And that's probably why I can think to myself now, 'Yeah, I can do this,' which is totally crazy!"

The grueling event features swimming, cycling and running, which will test the new mom's fitness and endurance. The 39-year-old gave birth to twins Max and Emme only six months ago, but she's certain she'll be able to pull through come game time.

"When I look back on my life and what I'm able to do, it's partly because of that early training," she said. "It taught me discipline, how to be committed, about striving to win, stamina, all that good stuff."

Still, she knows chances of winning are slim.

"My goal is to finish," Lopez said. "I'll probably end up crawling across the finish line, but I'll do it!" - Joyce Eng
