Never fear, How to Get Away with Murder fans: We won't be stuck dangling off that Season 5 cliffhanger for too long, because the Shondaland series has officially been renewed for Season 6! ABC announced the pickup on Friday. Grey's Anatomy and Station 19were also renewed, keeping the network's TGIT lineup intact.

The last we saw of Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) murder club, Laurel (Karla Souza) disappeared off the street outside her brother's office, and baby Christopher also went missing from his crib. It's not clear whether they were kidnapped, but we've got to put some money on the possibility that Laurel is actually the one who planned the whole thing so she and her kid could get away from all the crazy FBI sh-- that's about to hit the fan. Showrunner Pete Nowalk would not confirm or deny that theory when we talked with him about what's on tap for Season 6, but he did say that he's finally got a plan for how the series would wrap up when all is said and done.

"I'm so excited to tell you I do!" Nowalk said when asked whether he'd figured out how the show would end. "I wouldn't have been able to tell you that last week, but I do, and I love the idea. I haven't told anyone, I'm just sitting on it, and I would obviously like to write this show forever, but I'm also really excited that I have an ending that I think is really great!"

There's no telling when the show will actually come to an end, but we're definitely considering that Season 6 could be the last for this show. With the FBI is in town investigating Annalise, "Operation Bonfire" could be a great way to wrap the entire series up exactly where it began. After all, the murder that kicked all of this off was that of Sam Keating's (Tom Verica) on the night of the Middleton University Bonfire. If the FBI manages to pin that murder on Annalise and her students, then pulling on that thread might untangle all of their past misdeeds.

Could How to Get Away with Murder actually end with no one getting away with it?
