While Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) continues to run around in the wild defending conspiracy theories about the government, Homeland's best character, Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), was locked up in prison by President Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) at the end of last season in an attempt to quell the intelligence community that had turned against her.
But his stay in jail could be short... all he has to do is ditch some of that upstanding morality of his.
Saul will be visited by a familiar face in jail with an offer that he seemingly can't refuse: make a few statements and he'll be released from prison (where he doesn't belong in the first place). But will he take the deal and continue the fight to get rid of Keane from the outside?
