Most of the Stranger Things kids' late night appearances have been as a group , but Stephen Colbert got an exclusive with Millie Bobby Brown , the breakout star of Netflix's sci-fi series, on Tuesday's Late Show . The host put on a white wig with matching white eyebrow wigs to play Eleven's papa, Dr. Brenner (who's portrayed by Matthew Modine on the series). On Stranger Things , Dr. Brenner mostly uses Eleven to research psychic warfare or whatever, but Colbert makes use of her telekinetic powers for more mundane purposes, like floating a burrito from the microwave to his lazy hands and making a Coke can do a little dance.
