It is official: Doom Patrol will return for Season 2, and it'll be even easier to watch for everyone who has been sleeping on this beautiful, weird show.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver and Diane Guerrero, who plays Crazy Jane on the DC Universe series, revealed to fans during the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con Doom Patrol had been picked up and will return in 2020 -- not only on DC Universe, but also on the new Warner Media streaming service, HBO Max. All 15 episodes from Season 1 will also be available on HBO Max when the streaming service launches next year.

Doom Patrol is based on the comic book about a team of reluctant heroes, brought together when their mentor Chief (Timothy Dalton) is taken hostage by the super villain Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk). Brendan Fraser stars as Robot Man, alongside Guerrero, Matt Bomer as Negative Man, April Bowlby as Elasti-girl, and Joivan Wade as Cyborg. The first team saw the Doom Patrol retrieve Chief from Mr. Nobody's clutches, but half the crew was shrunk to a fraction of their size -- a big problem to be figured out when the show returns.

Season 1 of Doom Patrol is currently streaming on DC Universe.
