Julie Benz's character on Dexter was gruesomely killed off during the Season 4 finale, but the actress is back in the game with a new role on Desperate Housewives, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Sources tell the magazine that Benz been cast as Debbie, a stripper with a Master's degree who is offered a chance to transition into a more stable career path by Susan.

Benz's recurring role will last for a minimum of three episodes. The first will air in February.
