The Prisoner
8/7c AMC
Surreal, intriguing and at times captivating, this trippy re-jiggering of the 1960s cult hit is awash in a school of red herring (or are they?) As Six, Jim Caviezel is both a complex and perplexed amnesiac (or is he?) who alights in a mysterious dreamscape known as the Village, where everyone knows your name, but all names are numbers. The No. 1 guy in the Village is actually Two (Ian McKellen), an enigmatic leader with a smile on his face, treachery in his heart and a tendency for two-timing.

Every week, editors Mickey O'Connor and Adam Bryant answer your burning questions. Want some TV scoop? Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

You raised the question last week, so answer it. Will there be a Visitor-human birth on V? — Jim
MICKEY: We already know that Morris Chestnut's Ryan Nichols has a human lovah, but I'm hearing that a different human-V coupling will produce a bouncing baby reptile. Morena Baccarin, who plays Anna, the creepy-hot leader of the Visitors, is coy on the matter, but says it's definitely a possibility. There's your breaking news, Chad Decker.

V: Sit down with Visitors' leader Morena Baccarin

I loved the Arizona-centric episode of Grey's Anatomy. What's next for her? — Lori
ADAM: Show of jazz hands: Who wants a musical episode of Grey's? Well, you're...

Desperate Housewives Episode Recap: "Careful the Things You Say"

As Mary Alice tells us on this week's episode of Desperate Housewives, some lessons in life come not from a book but from the mistakes people make along the way in their lives. Gaby's mistake is her own lack of aptitude for school. Lynette shows she's learned from her past mistake when she kept Julie's secret at the beginning of the season. Bree's mistake is her insistence on doing everything on her own and judging people (Angie) too quickly. Susan's mistake is her self-involved ways in high school. And as for Angie's mistakes, well it's too early in the season for that information.

Mega Buzz: Scoop on Vampire Diaries, NCIS, Housewives and More!

Every week, editors Mickey O'Connor and Adam Bryant answer your burning questions. Want some TV scoop? Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

What's coming up on Vampire Diaries? — Monique
MICKEY: Witches and vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures in Mystic Falls. It won't be right away, but a major male character will reveal himself to be a werewolf. And don't think having read the books will help you figure this one out. In fact, the werewolf in question won't even know he's a werewolf, initially at least.

Got any scoop on Abby from NCIS? — Lyn
ADAM: How would you like to meet Abby's best friend? Well, you'll get to in this season's Christmas episode... read more

Desperate Housewives Episode Recap: "Don't Walk on the Grass"

On Sunday's episode of Desperate Housewives, Bree is torn between Orson and Karl, Katherine is still convinced that Mike loves her (much to Susan's chagrin), Gaby has a run-in with the officials at Juanita's school, Lynette discovers what Tom is actually doing on campus, and Angie has to cover for her mother. I'll post a full recap later, but in the meantime, please use this space to post your thoughts about "Don't Walk on the Grass."

Premise: Following her suicide, Mary Alice Young keeps tabs on friends and family she left behind on bucolic suburban Wisteria Lane. But this being a prime-time soap (if a tongue-in-cheek one), they all harbor a sordid secret or two. Created by writer-producer Marc Cherry (a 'Golden Girls' alum), 'Housewives' was an instant hit and has been a frequent contender on Emmy night ever since.
