Grey's Anatomyis getting some big-screen muscle behind the scenes for an upcoming episode. Denzel Washington will be stopping by to direct an episode, TVLine reports.
The two-time Oscar winner will direct Season 12's ninth episode, which begins shooting later this month to air during November sweeps.
This will be Washington's first time directing for television. He previously directed Antwone Fischer and The Great Debaters, both of which he also starred in.
